Kitty
Certified Registered Dental Hygienist
As a seasoned dental hygienist with 29 years of experience, Kitty delivers high quality care to every patient she treats. Originally from Sacramento, California, Kitty relocated to Florida in early 2020, drawn by the great weather and rocket launches.
Before joining White Palm Dental, Kitty served as a dental hygienist at Patrick Space Force Base, where she worked alongside Dr. McGavin for 3.5 years. When Dr. McGavin opened White Palm Dental, Kitty eagerly joined him, confident that there was no other dentist she would rather work with. Her dedication to service continues as she volunteers monthly at Patrick Space Force Base, providing dental care to Air Force Reservists.
Kitty is certified in Nitrous Oxide Sedation and Local Anesthesia, and her passion for patient education and oral health is evident in every interaction. Patients frequently praise her gentle yet thorough approach, emphasizing the trust and comfort they feel under her care.
When not in the office, Kitty enjoys the outdoors, maintaining an active lifestyle, spending time with family and friends, and traveling to explore new places. Her dedication to patient care, along with her energetic and positive personality, makes her a vital part of the White Palm Dental team.
Chelsey
Certified Registered Dental Hygienist
With over a decade of experience in dentistry, Chelsey is dedicated to providing exceptional care to every patient she treats. A native Floridian born in Avon Park, she has called Brevard home for the past 15 years. Her passion for dentistry began in middle school when she got braces, sparking a fascination with teeth. In 2012, she started as an on-the-job trained dental assistant while earning her certified dental assistant certification. She later pursued her hygiene degree at Eastern Florida State College, graduating as a dental hygienist in 2018. Her journey in dentistry started with a family friend who gave her the opportunity to assist in his office, and from that moment, she knew she had found her calling. Outside the office, she stays busy with her three children, enjoys camping with her family, and cares for their EIGHT Nigerian Dwarf goats. Chelsey worked alongside Dr. McGavin at another dental office prior to White Palm Dental opening. She originally joined the White Palm Dental team on a temporary basis while our office was growing, but quickly became a strong asset to our team and later accepted a permanent position. Patients appreciate her gentle yet thorough approach during their cleanings, as well as her friendly and easy-going demeanor.
Allyssa
Certified Registered Dental Hygienist
Allyssa brings fresh enthusiasm and a strong clinical background to White Palm Dental. Originally from California, she has called Florida home for the past four years. Her dental career began as a dental assistant, where she spent 1.5 years assisting with extractions, implants, bone grafts, and gum graft surgeries. After stepping away from dentistry for many years to focus on raising her family, Allyssa recently returned to school and graduated with honors from Eastern Florida State College’s Dental Hygiene program, earning her CRDH license with certifications in Local Anesthesia and Nitrous Oxide Sedation. Allyssa impresses patients with her warm, approachable nature and passion for educating them on the connection between oral health and overall wellness. She is dedicated to helping patients overcome dental anxiety, build trust, and prevent oral disease through personalized care and education. Outside the office, Allyssa enjoys kickboxing, weightlifting, playing guitar, and spending time with her husband of 18 years and their four children. Her commitment to patient care, combined with her positive energy and genuine compassion, makes her a valued member of the White Palm Dental team.
Jen
Lead Receptionist
Jen brings over 15 years of dental administration experience to White Palm Dental. Born and raised in Palm Bay, she is a true Floridian who only left Brevard County to attend school in Tampa and Gainesville before returning home in 2004. After a career in retail management and studies in Health Service Administration at Keiser University, Jen discovered her passion for dentistry in 2007. Since then, she has gained extensive knowledge in dental coding, treatment planning, insurance management, accounting, and practice leadership. Jen values being part of each patient’s health journey, building trust, and helping those with dental anxiety feel supported. Outside the office, Jen enjoys traveling, reading, and spending weekends on the water boating, kayaking, and snorkeling. She has been married since 2014, and shares her home with rescue cats. She is ambidextrous, is related to the American outlaw Jesse James, and despite her travels, has never seen snow! Jen's professionalism, compassion, and warm approach make her an essential part of our team.
Haley
High School Student Intern
As an intern at White Palm Dental, Haley brings curiosity, dedication, and a strong desire to grow in the dental field. A native of Oviedo, Florida, she has lived in the area most of her life, with the exception of two years spent in Georgia. Haley began her journey in dentistry by enrolling in a 4 year high school dental assisting program.
Her interest in dentistry was sparked by a fascination with how teeth work and a desire to understand the science behind oral health. Haley is excited to continue learning and gaining experience at White Palm Dental while she works toward her long-term goal of earning a master’s degree.
Outside of the office, Haley enjoys reading and rarely goes anywhere without a book in hand. She also loves playing guitar and is always up for a new challenge, whether it's mastering a song or learning a new skill. Most importantly, she values spending quality time with her friends and family.
With her passion for learning and genuine enthusiasm, Haley is a bright and loyal member of the White Palm Dental team.
Kevisha
Certified Dental Assistant
With a strong passion for patient care and a heart for helping others, Kevisha brings warmth and professionalism to every dental visit. Originally from South Florida, she has called Brevard County home for the past decade. Her journey into dentistry began at Eastern Florida State College 5 years ago, where she completed an accredited dental assisting program and earned her certification from the Dental Assisting National Board while also earning her Associate in Science Degree. Her education laid the groundwork for a fulfilling career dedicated to improving patients' oral health and overall dental experiences. Kevisha’s decision to pursue dentistry was inspired by the positive impact dental care had on her own life. She finds joy in changing patients’ negative perceptions about the dentist into positive, comfortable experiences. Her friendly nature and reassuring presence help put even the most anxious patients at ease. Outside of work, Kevisha enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring new cuisines as a self-proclaimed foodie, and embracing adventure through travel and trying new things. Her enthusiasm for life and commitment to compassionate care make her a valued member of the team.
Molly
Receptionist & Sterilization Technician
Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, Molly recently moved to Florida in January 2025 when her husband was transferred to Patrick SFB. Since arriving, she has loved experiencing Florida’s unique attractions, from watching rocket launches to exploring local wildlife and relaxing on the beach. This year marks the beginning of Molly’s journey in the dental field, and she is eager to learn and grow in her role. With a keen interest in oral health, she hopes to further her education and explore opportunities within the field. Her passion for dentistry stems from her desire to help people understand the importance of maintaining a healthy smile and learning how she can make a difference in patients’ oral hygiene. Outside of work, she has a love for travel and has visited nine different countries so far. She has recently taken up golfing with her husband and looks forward to improving her game. At home, she enjoys spending time with her beloved fur baby, Arlo. Her excitement for dentistry, paired with her warm and friendly nature, makes her a great addition to the White Palm Dental team.
